Riyadh - Arab Today
A Saudi soldier was killed by shells fired from Yemen Friday, the Saudi Interior Ministry said.
A border outpost in the Harth district of Jazan, southern Saudi Arabia, was shelled from the Yemeni territories, resulting in the death of soldier Khaled Bin Mohamed Shebeily, a spokesman for the Ministry said.
Around 90 civilians and soldiers have been killed in shelling and skirmishes in Saudi border regions since March when a Saudi-led military coalition began air and ground operations against Iran-backed militias in Yemen.
