A Saudi soldier was killed when the Jizan region located in the borders between Saudi Arabia and Yemen was shelled form the Yemeni territories.

A security spokesman of the Saudi Interior Ministry said that Jizan was shelled from Yemeni mountainous areas.

Artillery fire exchange between the two sides left a Saudi soldier dead, the spokesman noted.
