Suffocation in West Bank

Scores of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday suffered suffocation as a result of tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers to disperse a weekly peaceful march.

The Israeli forces fired large quantities of tear gas canisters and sound bombs at the protesters, a local group said.

A number of farmlands caught fire in the village of Bil'in in Ramallah, said a popular committee in the village.
