A second group of Iraqi Kurdistan's Peshmerga forces departed the Syrian town of Ain Al-Arab, Kobane, through Turkey on Friday after aiding Kurdish fighters there fend off the advances of Islamic State (ISIL) insurgents.
Seven small buses arrived at the Turkey's southeastern city Sanliurfa carrying the troops, who are expected to continue to Irbil by air.
Meanwhile, according to sources, a third group of 150 Peshmerga troops, who will take their place, have already arrived in Turkey
The Kurdistan government had sent the two groups in December and October 2014 to aid their community living in Syria which is being targeted by the extremist militant group.
