Minya security forces carried out a large-scale campaign to arrest criminals, unlicensed arms, drug dealers and smugglers in the Upper Egypt province.
The campaign resulted in capturing six suspects, 17 firearms, five automatic rifles as well as various types of ammunition.
Meanwhile, similar campaigns were conducted in Gharbiya and resulted in the arrest of 1,958 traffic violations, 82 motorbikes without plates, five drivers driving under the influence of drugs.
