Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar has asserted that all security agencies concerned with securing the parliamentary elections will remain on high alert in all governorates until the results of the elections are announced.

In statements to MENA after casting vote in the runoff of second stage of the elections on Wednesday, the minister said security agencies are coordinating with the Armed Forces to enable citizens to cast their ballots smoothly.

He said the operations rooms of the elections across the country have not yet informed the operation room of the ministry of any incident that would undermine the election process.
