The security authorities in Khartoum International Airport banned leaders of the Sudanese opposition from departing the country to Paris via Cairo.

In a press statement, the Head of the Sudanese Congress Party Ibrahim el Sheikh said that the security apparatuses told him that he is banned from traveling and seized his passport.

El Sheikh underlined that the security apparatus continued to violate human rights and disrespect the constitution as well as law.

Meanwhile, the leader in the Sudanese Communist Party Seddik Youssef was also banned on Saturday from leaving the country to Cairo.
