Security forces beefed up measures around churches in Qalubiya governorate to secure Copts' celebrations of the Easter, a security source at Qalubiya security directorate said on Friday.

Security forces also closed streets leading with the churches and prevented cars and motorcycles from parking in the surroundings of the churches, the source added.

A plan was set to secure churches in the governorate ahead of the Easter, the source further said.
