Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar asserted that the security bodies have been extremely successful in their war against cyber-terrorism.

This came during an address of Abdel Ghaffar read out on his behalf by Assistant Interior Minister Ali Abdel Mawla during the inaugural session of a seminar on risks of cyber-terrorism and means to face it.

He said that several terrorist cells that use the internet to promote terrorist thinking and incite violence were arrested.
