Security agencies in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena launched a number of security campaigns to arrest outlaws and those accused of possessing fire arms and illegal drugs.
Qena security director Salah Eddin Hassaan said in statements Monday the campaigns resulted in arresting six persons with two cartridges, one automatic rifle, 85 bullets, a Russian rifle and five kilograms of cannabis in their possession.
Security agencies in the Delta governorate of Beheira also launched a security campaign against the outlaws where they raided a workshop for making fire arms and arrested a 36-year-old jobless person with five fire arms and quantities of amunition.
A number of outlaws were arrested in security campaigns in the governorates of the Red Sea, Qaliobia and Assiut, some of them supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood.
