Cairo - MENA
Security conditions in Egypt are calm and security forces are fully controlling the situation, affirmed Assistant Interior Minister Abdel Fattah Osman.
He, meanwhile, said that there was only a protest in Abdel Moneim Riad Square and after it was broken up one a bomb was found and security forces dealt with it.
In an interview with the Egyptian Television on Wednesday, Osman said that several campaigns are launched to eliminate criminal hotbeds, including Matariya, Kerdasa and Nahiya.
The Egyptian street is calm contrary to what the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group is trying to broadcast through its channels, he added.
