Security agencies dealt a new blow to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) by arresting 16 middle-ranking elements of the group during the past 24 hours over inciting violence.

The arrested face charges of attacking state institutions and taking part in acts of violence.

Six others from the MB specialized committees were also arrested over planning to attack police and army forces.

Security agencies took legal measures against the group elements who will be referred to the prosecution.
