El Arish Security sources are now combing the site where the natural gas pipeline has been detonated by unidentified assailants early Tuesday morning.
Officials with the gas company asserted that the explosion occurred at the main pipeline feeding the gas-powered houses and installations in El Arish.
No casualties were reported, according to the officials.
Teams of the Gas company have been sent to the explosion site to close all valves of the pipeline and stop the flow of gas, the officials added.
