Aswan security forces detonated a time-bomb planted near a roadblock at the Aswan-Cairo highway, 35 km away from Aswan, on Saturday.
The explosive charge was placed near the security roadblock. Bomb disposal experts took the bomb to a deserted area and detonated it.
