Alexandria security directorate increased checkpoints and patrol since early in the morning Friday to secure the churches' surroundings days ahead Xmas celebrations.
The directorate is taking the precautionary measures to face any attempt to spread panic among the citizens.
The army and police forces continued patrolling in the streets to secure all vital facilities in the governorate.
