Iraqi security bodies freed Yathreb area and al-Dhoulou'iyah airport in southern Tikrit from the terrorist Daesh group on Saturday.
The forces raised the Iraqi flag above buildings there.
As many as 22 Daesh terrorists were killed in the clashes.
