Alexandria Port Authority and policemen beefed up security measures in the port.

They also secured gates, individuals, trucks, buildings, facilities, waterways and ships inside the port.

The gates were equipped with explosives detection devices in anticipation of any incidents that might take place on the anniversary of the June, 30 Revolution.

Security personnel were increased to make sure that work is going on in various administrations, said Head of Alexandria Port Authority Abdel Qader Darwish.
