Security measures have been beefed up in Qalyubia city, northern Cairo, in anticipation of any protests called for by supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group, the security chief here said Friday.
Security forces are deployed in entrances to and exits of the governorate, outside police stations, prison facilities and other vital institutions, Mahmoud Yousri said.
Yousri added that all security bodies are on high alert to ensure safety and security of residents, warning against any violation of law.
