Qaliyoubia security forces stepped up their presence around police and other vital institutions to face any acts by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group.
Fixed and mobile checkpoints have been established at the entrances and exits of the governorate to provide security.
Qaliyoubia Security Chief Mahmoud Yousry said police patrols have been deployed across the city.
