Cairo's explosives' department official Alaa Abdel Zaher on Saturday denied reports claiming that a bomb went off under a car in Heliopolis district, Cairo.
The official told MENA a car set in fire as a result of technical failure, when the fire spread to another car.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the fire.
No casualties were reported, the official said.
