The Cairo-Ismailia desert road is being decorated with Egypt's flag days before the inauguration of the new Suez Canal project on August 6.

MENA spotted the national flag flying over buildings and schools on the road in preparations for the celebrations of the inauguration.

The security agencies stepped up up security measures along the road and increased the checkpoints to more than 40 to secure the celebrations and confront any attempt targeting the establishments.
