An all-out security plan is in place to secure celebrations during Eidul-Fitr (Lesser Bairam), said Deputy of the General Administration of Civil Protection Mohamed Saqr.

In exclusive statements to MENA Thursday, Saqr said that assistant interior minister Sami Youssef issued directives to increase the alert level at all departments of the civil protection nationwide.

The plan entails the deployment of bomb disposal experts throughout main squares, he said, urging citizens to swiftly call 180 if they find suspicious objects.
