A senior security source denied on Sunday news posted on a number of websites claiming that an explosion had occurred in the Manshiyat Naser district of Cairo.

The situation is calm across the capital, the source told MENA.

Operating rooms did not receive any reports today concerning explosions in Cairo, he further said.
