Security forces on Saturday launched campaigns in a number of governorates as part of the Interior Ministry's plan to control the markets and face fraud.

The campaigns covered Luxor, Port Said, Kafr el Sheikh and North Sinai governorates.

Huge amounts of smoked and salty fish which are not fit for human consumption were seized before being sold during Easter and Shame el Nessim celebrations.

Also, subsidized gasoline, solar and butane gas cylinders were seized.

Amounts of narcotics were also seized.
