Security tightens up

Security has been beefed up at all main streets and squares in Kafr el Sheikh governorate to encounter any acts of violence and sabotage that could take place by the Muslim Brotherhood group during protests planned for Friday.

Police troops were deployed to secure all the vital public and private institutions and facilities, including banks, police stations, and prisons, a security source said.

Checkpoints were set up in the entrances and exits of the governorate to maintain security, he added.
