Security forces on Sunday launched wide-scale security campaigns to arrest fugitives and outlaws across the country.
Security bodies in Qena arrested 28 fugitives.
Also, security bodies managed to remove 132 encroachments on roads by hawkers, register 52 administrative violations and record 1503 traffic violations as well as confiscating 215 motorcycles, four vehicles and two tuk-tuks without plates.
In North Sinai, the security forces nabbed four people, including a Palestinian man, with huge quantity of narcotic substances in their possessions.
Also, the security clampdown resulted in removing 132 encroachments on roads by street vendors, filing four supply cases.
In Monofeya, the security bodies filed reports against owners of seven butane gas warehouses for selling it in the black market in different townships of the governorate.
About 24 encroachments were removed from the River Nile banks and six fugitives were arrested in the campaign.
In Alexandria, the security forces rounded up three jobless men with small quantity of Hashish in their possessions.
In Beni Suef, the security bodies seized 1140 subsidized butane gas cylinders that were sold in the black market.
In Luxor, the security forces confiscated one ton and 100 kg of fish fillets before being sold in the black market.
Also, a large quantity of bad food commodities were seized in the clampdown.
In Aswan, about 200 encroachments were removed from the River Nile banks in the cities of Kom Ombo, Edfu and Aswan.
