Algiers - APS
Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal hailed Tuesday evening the quality of training provided to the policemen and their sacrifices during the national tragedy.
“I seize this opportunity to hail the major progress made by the Algerian Police thanks to the quality of the training provided, over the past few years, to the policemen,” said Sellal in a message sent to the policemen on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the creation of this body, read on his behalf by Director of Communication and Public Relations at DGSN, Chief Superintendent Djilali Boudalia.
“This progress would not have been made without the sacrifices of the men and women of the Algerian Police and their dedication to serving citizens and protecting their properties, particularly after their experience during the national tragedy where they greatly contributed to releasing the country from the spiral of violence with their lives,” added Sellal.
“It is a pleasure, at the moment when the Algerian Police celebrates its 52nd anniversary, to extend, on the behalf of the government and my own behalf, my sincere congratulations and best wishes on this occasion which coincides with the day of restoration of the independence and sovereignty of our country.”
