A senior Interior Ministry official has stressed that police officers should be committed to law when using firearms, urging them to deal gently with citizens seeking security services. 

Assistant Interior Minister for Public Security el Sayyed Gad el Haq made the remarks on Thursday during the graduation ceremony of a new class of criminal investigation police officers.

He pointed out to sacrifices offered by policemen in their attempt to preserve security of the nation.

He stressed police's determination to continue success with the Armed Forces and all honorable citizens.
