President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi

Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh has been prepared to receive Arab leaders arriving for the 26th session of the Arab summit, which kicks off Saturday under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The “peace city” has been prepared for the Arab gathering, the largest event it hosts since the January and June revolutions.
On Thursday, the Arab foreign ministers held a preparatory meeting for the summit and ratified a draft resolution on forming Arab joint force.
The city’s airport has been working around the clock to receive delegations.
Security measures have been stepped up all over the city and around the conference center.
