His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who passed away earlier this morning. He offered sincere condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, all members of the Saudi Royal Family, the GCC leaders and the Saudi people on the sad occasion.
Shaikh Nasser recalled the good qualities of late King Abdullah and his support to Bahrain in all fields. He asserted that the whole world had lost a great leader who had dedicated all his life to serving the Arab and Islamic nations and supporting global issues. He lauded late King Abdullah’s efforts to achieve international peace, commending his leading role in humanitarian and charity work.
Shaikh Nasser pointed out the initiatives of late King Abdullah to strengthen the GCC and consolidate cooperation mechanisms among its member states, praising Saudi Arabia’s landmark achievements under his leadership.
He wished Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud every success in carrying on with the development march, wishing Saudi Arabia continuous security and stability.
