Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a phone conversation Saturday with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
The talks covered the latest developments in Libya and preparation for Shoukry's visit to Russia, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said.
Also, they discussed efforts exerted to pass a UN resolution on Libya, the spokesman said.
