Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted on Wednesday that he will take up during his current visit here bilateral issues along with African topics of joint concern.

In press statements after arriving here earlier today, the Egyptian top diplomat underlined the importance of relations with South Sudan.

He asserted that Egypt is seeking to enhance joint cooperation in the economic, political and cultural domains.

Egypt is also supporting stability and security of South Sudan, he said, adding that Cairo is to extend all assistance to promote the development process in South Sudan.
