Libya's Ambassador in Cairo Mohamed Faez Gebril said on Saturday that the North Sinai terrorist attacks are part of a major conspiracy to defame Islam.
"Terrorism that appears from time to time confirms that it is a tool used by the enemies to hinder the nation to achieve progress," the diplomat said in a statement.
Egypt will rise and shoulder its responsibilities in the region and in serving mankind, he added.
