South Sinai governor Khalid Fouda said on Tuesday that the Sinai Peninsula and Canal cities are targeted by the terrorist groups.
Troops should be trained on fighting terrorism in the state, he said.
Fouda added that he held a meeting with the South Sinai security chief on the security situation in the province as part of his endeavors to support tourism here.
