Former Lebanese prime minister Fouad Siniora has urged the UN, Arab League and European Union to take necessary action to stop the Israeli attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque.

Siniora warned that Israel's atrocities in the Palestinian territories will create tension in the region and foment extremism in the world.

Siniora voiced his concerns in a telephone conversation with Arab League chief Nabil el Araby.
