President Abdel Fattah appointed former chief of the Administrative Control Authority Mohamed Omar Heeba as a presidential adviser for combating corruption after his term of office at ACA ended.
Sisi met Heeba Thursday and hailed his efforts in developing the work of ACA, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
He also praised ACA's efforts in preserving public funds and combating embezzlement.
