President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived on Saturday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) leading a high-profile delegation on a two-day visit during which he will have talks with senior UAE officials on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common interest.
The visit is the first for Sisi to the UAE
He will attend the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) planned to be held in Abu Dhabi.
The Egyptian leader is expected to deliver Egypt's speech at the event on the energy crisis and means to solve it.
He was received at the Abu Dhabi Airport by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, top officials, the Egyptian ambassador in the UAE and the UAE ambassador in Cairo
