President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Thursday the graduation ceremony of new batches of military academies and institutes.
The president attended the passing-out of the 110th batch of the Military Academy, the 53rd batch of the Military Technical College, the 45th batch of the Armed Forces Technical Institute and the 19th batch of Technical Nursing Institute.
The ceremony is attended by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi and a number of ministers and statesmen.
The ceremony began by playing the national anthem.
The cadets then entered the parade ground and staged a motorbike parade.
They also made physical exercises using TRX Muscle-Building Workout equipment that is used to develop the total-body strength.
The students also performed bodybuilding exercises to display their physical strength and technical skills.
The ceremony also included a military parade to show the cadets' hand-to-hand combat skills and capabilities.
Cadets of the military academy presented a parade to demonstrate their individual combat skills.
Four "Chinook" helicopters with thunderbolt units on board performed an aerial parade to display their special fighting capabilities.
The military academy students also presented a parade using four-wheeled motorcycles.
A unit of elite thunderbolt commandos, who are trained on fighting terrorism, presented a show of the release of a number of hostages held inside a vehicle and the arrest of their kidnappers.
The cadets also presented a show of overcoming barriers and jumping through rings of fire.
The chief instructor at the Military Academy announced the results of the 110th batch of the Military Academy that was named after "Field Marshal Mohamed Abdel Ghani el-Gamasy".
He also announced the results of the 53rd batch of the Military Technical College, the 45th batch of the Armed Forces Technical Institute and the 19th batch of Technical Nursing Institute.
The results were ratified by the defense minister.
The students then handed over the leadership to the next batch students.
At the end of the ceremony, President Sisi conferred the second-class Medal of Military Duty on top graduates of the military academies and institutes.
