President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday issued a decree authorizing the prime minister some of the president's powers.

The powers include protecting antiquities, disposing state property and granting pensions and special bonuses.

Under the decree, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail may be the minister in charge of enforcing the provisions of law regulating markets and non-banking instruments and is entitled to delegate some of his powers in this respect.
