Cairo - MENA
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has said corruption does not only show in financial aspects but also extends to operation process and performance, calling for confronting it.
He criticized the government over the digging of 4,000 water wells to serve the development process.
Speaking to Minister of Petroleum Sherif Ismail, Sisi said the digging should have been accomplished in two years, but so far nothing has been fulfilled.
The president said he intervenes in the details of the projects for the sake of Egypt as he takes the responsibility of the whole country.
