President Abdel Fattah El Sisi criticized encroachments on state lands by some individuals, saying he will never tolerate this.

During a celebration in Badr City held on the opening of 32 new development projects on Thursday, Sisi said the lands that have not been allocated to citizens fall under the responsibility of the Armed Forces which will not allow them to be encroached upon.

The president said he will be notified within one month that all encroachments on state lands that took place in the past period have been removed.

A state of law means that everyone, including the president of the republic, is not above the law, he said.

He expressed resentment over a report showing that 300,000 feddans of the 1.5-million-feddan reclamation project were seized by some persons.
