Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Monday with Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek to discuss promoting cooperation in all fields, said Spokesman for the Presidency Alaa yousef.
Present at the meeting were ُEgypt's Minister of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and ambassador of the Czech to Egypt.
The meeting tackled means of enhancing cooperation, including increase Czech tourism to Egypt, and raising the volume of trade exchange.
During the meeting, Sisi hailed as historic relations binding between Egypt and Czech, expressing appreciation for Czech stances supporting the will of the Egyptian people.
Zaoralek invited President Sisi anew to visit Czech, which would give a strong impetus to cooperation between both countries.
Egypt is a strategic partner to Czech in the Middle East, Zaoralek said, appreciating a role played by Egypt in the region.
Zaoralek voiced his country's support for Egypt's efforts in the field of combating terrorism, congratulating President Sisi on the election of the Egyptian parliament.
A delegation from Czech under Minister of Industry and Trade will visit Egypt during this year to hold a joint committee for economic cooperation, he added.
