President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Tuesday with Interior Minister Magdy Abdel-Ghaffar to discuss efforts exerted to maintain security and control prices.
During the meeting, Abdel-Ghaffar briefed the president with latest security efforts and measures adopted as highest alert announced nationwide.
The ministry has set plans to follow up problems that cause traffic jams and deploying enough security forces to facilitate vehicle movement, the minister said.
Also, squads of security forces are in the field to monitor prices of goods, the minister added.
