President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Saturday that all Egyptians have the same rights and commitments.

Egypt appreciates and respects women and will never accept any insults to them, Sisi said in reference to the recent attack on a woman in the Upper Egyptian city of Minya. Such incident should never be repeated, the president stressed as he inaugurated the first two phases of the "Asmarat" social housing project in Muqqattam.

Law will be applied against all violators starting from the president, Sisi said.
