President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday got a phone call from Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said.
Abadi congratulated Sisi on the success of the Egypt Economic Development Conference that was held in Egypt on March 13-15.
Sisi said Egypt is supporting Iraqi efforts in wiping out terror and extremism.
Sisi asserted the importance of closing the ranks of all Iraqis.
