Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held expanded talks with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud, said presidential spokesman Ihab Badawi.
The talks tackled a number of important issues, mainly ways to ensure ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the latest developments in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Lebanon and enhancing cooperation between both countries.
Sisi arrived Sunday in Jeddah to start an official visit to Saudi Arabia. The President is accompanied by a delegation comprising Foreign Minister Sameh Shokri.
