President Abdel Fattah El Sisi led the military funeral that was held for 22 border guards who have been killed in an attack on a border post in the New Valley province.
The funeral was attended by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Defense Minister General Seqki Sobh, Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim and Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb.
On Saturday, 21 border guards were killed and four others injured in a terror attack against a security checkpoint on Farafra-Cairo highway in the New Valley.
