President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left Addis Ababa for Cairo Friday, cutting short his participation in meetings of the African Summit in the wake of the terrorist attacks in North Sinai.
Sisi only attended the inaugural session and preferred to head home to follow up the situation.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry led Egypt's delegation to the 24th AU Summit, currently taking place here.
