Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al Sisi and his accompanying delegation left here Wednesday for Madrid, after a brief visit to Cyprus, where he held a tripartite summit with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

The summit took up ways of boosting cooperation between the three countries in the various fields, especially energy and combating terrorism and extremism.
