President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Wednesday with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss the latest political and economic developments in the country, said Spokesman for Presidency Alaa Yousef.

President Sisi directed paying attention to provide the needs of citizens, fight against corruption, control prices and bring about security and stability into the Egyptian street.

The meeting tackled the progress of the major national projects.

Sisi underlined the importance of finalizing all projects on time.

The president also called for rationalizing government expenditure.
